虽然拍摄故宫给李少白带来各种赞誉,但问及偏好,他还是选择了长城“:故宫是建筑之美、人文之美,长城是人与自然的共同杰作,历经风雨,有种缺憾的美。”在李少白心中,长城有三条。一条是空间上的风光长城,另一条是时间上的历史长城,还有一条是与人有关的人文长城。这三条长城贯穿了李少白长城影像的全部。
