经两栽培年度对香菇品种筛选、袋与砖两种栽培方式对比试验,认为探索桂南常温下室内代料栽培香菇的高产试验条件已初步具备,因此1985-1986年度,进行了代料栽培香菇试验,结果表明,桂南虽地处低纬,但只要选育好栽培品种,栽培管理技术适当,亦可获得较为理想的产量及生物转化率。
