新加坡的面 积只有６００多平 方公里，虽然面积还没有我国台湾省的台北市大，但可别瞧不起它。若看过它井就有序的都市景观及先进的道路规划，谁都不得不承认，它的确是一个具有大都市气质与气派的城市国家。新加坡虽然地处东南亚，但没有苍郁的热带气息，反倒散发出一股清爽的快感。这种矛盾就好像在英国殖民式拓茺风格的建筑群以及落后古老的街 道中，矗立着栋栋最尖端的高楼大 厦！也像是在开放文明中，却有着 几乎不近人情的严格律法和太多 的禁忌。
