我们论证了一种新的使用亚微微秒脉冲和非线性检测的光学时域反射测量法。其高空间分辨率(≈15μm)、高时间分辨率和高灵敏度使探测、定位和分析光纤中存在的缺陷大小和性质提高到一个新的限度。
We demonstrate a new optical time-domain reflectometry using sub-picosecond pulses and non-linearity detection. Its high spatial resolution (≈15μm), high temporal resolution and high sensitivity have added to the limit the size and nature of defects found in the detection, location and analysis of optical fibers.
