In order to explore a new method for controlling the spread of schistosomiasis in lakes and marshes, this study was conducted in 1992 in 1994 in four endemic villages in a heavy epidemic-affected area in two townships of Qianjiang City, Hubei Province, combining with comprehensive agricultural development and rural construction.
