鉴于我校差生面较广、教学成绩滞后的情况,我校在教学经验丰富、勇于创新的廖校长的带领下,从去年开始进行了教学改革,先后向教育界的两大奇迹——杜郎口中学和洋思中学取经,并结合我校实际,实施了“先学后教”教学模式。这学期,这种教学模式在我校更是进行得轰轰烈烈,并在全校设立了8个实验班。经过将近一年的努力探索,尤其是这一学期的大力推进,“先学后教”教学模式已初见成效。我班也非常荣幸地被选做实验班,刚接手这个班时,这个班的差生是整个年级最多的,学生的行为习惯也比较差,经过一个学期的教学改革尝试,我班学生的学习习惯得到了很大的改善,学生的自主学习能力得到了一定的培养,中下层生面在逐步缩小。下面笔者主要谈谈“先学后教”教学模式对中下层生的促进作用。
