We have synthesized composite materials with enhanced thermoelectricity by exfoliation-reassembly route.Layered materials such as sodium cobalt oxide, bismuth telluride can be applied to the synthesis of thermoelectric composite by the exfoliation and subsequent re-assembly method.Such nanostructured sodium cobalt oxide and bismuth telluride result in an exceptionally low thermal conductivity, due to enhanced phonon scattering.Due to the decrease of in-plane thermal conductivity,ZT values of the restacked samples increase in comparison to that of the pristine samples.
