Thin Li4SiO4 is successfully prepared on porous alumina substrate by using a novel solid conversion method.Porous silica such as silicalite was used as a silica source.The ratio of Li4SiO4 increased with increasing Li ion concentration of Li solution.CO2 permeances decreased by 80% after 90 min of CO2 permeation tests at 580 ℃.H2 and N2 permeances decreased by 56% and 61% after CO2 permeation.Reaction rate of L i4SIO4 and CO2 increased rapidly at 500 ℃.Decomposition reaction started about 800 ℃.
