Perovskite type interlanthanide compounds,which general formula can be described as ABO3 in which A represents a large cation and B represents a small cation,are composed by double oxides of two trivalent rare earth ions.The compounds and the doped compounds are currently studied for the application of protonic conductors,scintillators and unique magnetic properties,etc.Because of the Goldschmidt tolerance factor,the A site can be Ho to Lu when La is in the B site.
