　　Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a complex endocrinopathy which affects 5%-7%of reproductive-age womens fertility.However,the specific causes of anovulation are still not well clarified.Natriuretic peptide type C/natriuretic peptide receptor 2(NPPC/NPR2)system is essential for sustaining oocyte meiotic arrest until preovulatory luteinizing hormone(LH)surge decreases NPPC/NPR2 levels and triggers meiotic resumption.
