Eu-doped SrSi2O2N2 is known as a phosphor with good conversion efficiency in green spectral region,desirable in high luminance applications due to its color gamut end point and gains over direct InGaN green at high currents in full conversion mode.The optical performance of phosphor-converted LEDs(pc-LEDs)in general is depending on the luminescence properties of the converters,which is also true for ceramics.
