　　Phytochemical investigation of the fruits ofFicus hirta led to the isolation and identification of two carboline alkaloids (1 and 2),four sesquiterpenoids/norsesquiterpenoids (3-6) including two megastigrnanes,and three flavonoids (7-9).All the isolates were isolated from this species for the first time.
