The columns of Five-zone simulated moving bed (SMB) were divided into five zones by two inlets and three outlets as shows in Fig.1.Each column are equipped with the inlet and outlet, and by changing the multi-valve swithching time periodically to change the position of the five ports in the system, thus simulating the stationary phase and mobile phase of relative reflux, so as to realize the continuous separation of three components.
