The most apparent business usage of the World Wide Web is company-to-consumer electronic commerce(e-commerce).An e-commerce site’s main objective is to sell products and services through the internet. It has become a popular way of shopping. However, most people in Guinea find it difficult to shop online because of the lack of an excellent online web-shop that will focus and center its operation on the country, especially the rural localities.Due to delivery and payment difficulties, most online platforms like Alibaba,Amazon,e Bay,and others do not reach their services to all parts of the country(Guinea). Many people who want to shop online are now shopping directly from local markets and stores, which is very difficult because of the long queues they have to stand in.Because of this global pandemic, people are now reluctant to join those queues. Those that shop with them has to choose. The project deals with developing an e-commerce website dedicated to enabling customers, especially Guineans,to make purchases and receive deliveries of their orders to their respective destinations. It is also to help them sell their local goods effectively to our website. It provides the user with a catalog of different items available for purchase. The system implements a 3-tier approach, with a back-end(Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition),a middle tier of Internet Information Services(IIS),and a front-end using Angular CLI.In developing the website, several technologies must be studied and understood. These include architecture, server, and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies such as Angular CLI,Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition(J2EE),and gateway APIs Payment(Paypal,Google pay,Orange money,Bank Transfer)implemented for secure payment and user data security with JSON web token. This research will discuss the underlying problems and technologies to create and implement an e-commerce website to help solve these problems. It also allowed customers to make online payments securely without any issues. The website focuses on customer ordering commodities from the comfort of their homes. The end-user would be able to place their order online and make payment to have their goods delivered. The things that will be listed. The website included clothes, shoes, health and body care, electronics, and other local products. The website will allow them to choose their products, add them to their shopping cart, confirm the transaction and pay for the items with Pay Pal,Orange money, bank transfer, and Google Pay or cancel the purchase. The order summary generates the purchased items, including the date, address, logistics, delivery time, and printing option. After payments, the customer receives an order confirmation in their e-mail,and those living in Guinea will receive SMS notifications. The application also stores the customer’s previous shopping list in their profile for future purchases. The website implements a search engine that will also enable the user to know when quickly search by category or product name,or description and whether a product is out of stock. The first chapter introduces the project’s issue, covering the study’s scope, goals, and objectives. The second chapter shows us the system requirements analysis, design diagram, and functional specification of information gathered and interpreted data.Chapter 3 involves the modules and implementation of the web store.Chapter 4 is about database implementation, data security, web browser, and innovations—chapter 5 includes conclusions and recommendations.
