电影业遭受大萧条冲击之后复苏 1930年前后是美国电影业第一个发展高峰,全美23000家戏院有8860家放映有声电影,然而,大萧条同样冲击了电影业,当时好莱坞的六大电影公司(米高梅、派拉蒙、华纳、环球、二十世纪福克斯、哥伦比亚、雷电华)都受到了不同程度地影响,1933年,派拉蒙和雷电华先后宣布破产,不过,大萧条过去后派拉蒙很快起死回生(1936年重建)。到30年代中期,电影业开始走出困境,观众日益增多,票价也从原来的20美分涨到了25美分,复苏后的电影业依靠大量发行拷贝
The movie industry recovered from the impact of the Great Recession Around 1930, the film industry was the first peak of its growth. There were 8,860 films screened at 23,000 theaters across the United States. However, the Great Depression also hit the film industry when Hollywood’s six major movie studios MGM, Paramount, Warner, Universal, Twentieth Century Fox, Columbia, Thunder and lightning) were affected to varying degrees, in 1933, Paramount and Thunder and lightning have declared bankruptcy, however, after the Great Depression faction Ramon will soon return to life (rebuilt in 1936). By the mid-1930s, the motion picture industry was beginning to get out of the woods with a growing audience and fares rose from 20 cents to 25 cents. After the recovery, the film industry relied on a large number of distribution copies
