《论语》比较全面地反映了孔子及其弟子的人品性格与思想观点,是后人研究孔子和儒家思想的重要文本。因此,掌握《论语》,便逐渐成为攻治“五经”的条件之一,这也决定了它与以经学著称的古代中国教育的密切关系。自汉代以降,《论语》都是历代中央官学中士子们研习的对象,是他们参加考试的必考经典之一。这就使得《论语》在中国教育史上产生了重大影响,其思想内容、思维方式与价值取向,也在中华民族心理素质的形成过程中打上了深深的烙印。
The Analects of Confucius comprehensively reflected the character and ideological viewpoint of Confucius and his disciples, and was an important text for later generations to study Confucius and Confucianism. Therefore, mastering “The Analects” gradually becomes one of the conditions for the attack on the “Five Classics”, which also determines its close relationship with the ancient Chinese education known as Confucian classics. Since the Han Dynasty, “The Analects of Confucius” are all the subjects studied by the scholars of the Central Government Officials in ancient dynasties, and they are one of the necessary classic for them to take the examinations. This makes the Analects of Confucius exert a tremendous influence on the history of Chinese education. Its ideological content, way of thinking and value orientation are also deeply imprinted in the formation of the psychological quality of the Chinese nation.
