目的通过对68例鼻咽癌复发患者癌组织中细胞周期调节蛋白水平的检测,进行鼻咽癌复发的趋势预测和探讨可能的机制。方法采取免疫组织化学法对所有研究对象的组织标本进行p53、MDM2、p21WAF1、p21ras、VEGF的检测。结果 68例患者平均复发间期为(31.65±24.52)月。未发现不同分期的复发间期差异有统计学意义(P=0.361)。单因素分析发现高表达的MDM2水平会缩短复发间期(P=0.016)。多因素分析显示年龄(≥50岁)、高表达MDM2和低表达或阴性p21WAF1是复发间期的影响因素。结论年龄较大、高表达MDM2、低表达或阴性p21WAF1的鼻咽癌患者易较早出现复发。
Objective To predict the recurrence of nasopharyngeal carcinoma by detecting the expression of cell cycle regulatory proteins in 68 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and to explore the possible mechanism. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of p53, MDM2, p21WAF1, p21ras and VEGF in all the tissue samples. Results The average recurrence interval of 68 patients was (31.65 ± 24.52) months. There was no significant difference in recurrence interval between different stages (P = 0.361). Univariate analysis found that high expression of MDM2 level will shorten the recurrence interval (P = 0.016). Multivariate analysis showed that age (≥50 years), high expression of MDM2 and low expression or negative p21WAF1 are the influencing factors of the recurrence interval. CONCLUSIONS: Older NPC patients with high expression of MDM2, low expression or negative p21WAF1 may relapse earlier.
