依据“八五”全国农业科研机构科研开发能力综合评估，中国热带农业科学院11个独立单位评估结果，分析总结其“八五”期间工作的优点和经验，存在的缺点与困难，并就促进其科研开发综合能力再上新台阶提出建议和措施。
Based on the comprehensive assessment of the research and development capabilities of the National Agricultural Research Institutions during the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” period and the results of 11 independent units of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences, the advantages and experiences, shortcomings and difficulties in their work during the Eighth Five-Year Plan Period were analyzed and summarized. Scientific research and development of comprehensive ability to a new level to make recommendations and measures.
