The topic of genetically modified is a hot topic in public opinion, with noisy quarrels on both sides. We can try to depict Marx’s sentence to describe the development of this debate: the entire society is increasingly divided into two hostile camps: “Quasi-transfer” and “Antistrobition.” In the existing controversy, the key issue is the safety of genetically modified foods. This issue is certainly important, but devoting all its attention to safety has led to the neglect of another equally important issue, namely intellectual property issues linked to GMOs, and intellectual property-based capital Expansion and accumulation.
