我们厂原是一个车木生产合作社,一九六九年开始转产木工机械。现有职工五百三十人,其中青工占百分之六十;有职称的技术人员十一名,占职工总数百分之二点一。当时,由于职工的文化水平低,缺乏机械加工专业知识,多数工人看不懂图纸,不会使用量具,新进厂的学徒,有的还处于半文盲状态。面对这样一支职工队伍,要制造木工机械,确实困难重重。一九七八年以来,在党中央关于开展职工教育的精神鼓舞下,我厂职工教育逐步走上轨道,教育面不断扩大。到目前为止,受各种类型培训的累计达五百四十七人次,其中十八名进大专深造,十九名外读高中;青工平均相似技术等级为二点五级。初
