Last Year’s Tree is a full-length essay on the fourth grade of the People’s Education PEP in the standard compulsory education curriculum standard, and is the work of Japanese writer Shin Min Nan Kyi. The article tells a vivid tale of fairy tales: birds and trees are good friends, singing and tree singing every day, and going back to the south when the birds promise the tree’s request - to come back and sing in the coming year to listen to it.
