为了满足平巷掘进时对炮孔平行度的要求,凿岩台车钻臂设计必须采用不同的结构型式。从初始的升降式结构、剪式结构,发展到平行四边形结构直到目前已大量采用的液压平动机构,一步步逐渐完善,使钻臂(直角坐标运动钻臂和极坐标运动钻臂)在沿全断面工作时凿岩平行度的范围加大,动作准确,结构紧凑,维修方便。
