汉代《毛诗》主“讽谏说”，不主“诗教说”。它提倡的讽谏精神对唐代至北宋诗歌产生了极大影响。朱熹作《诗集传》，“诗教说”兴而《毛诗》废。它对元明清诗歌影响巨大。《毛诗》兴衰与古典诗歌盛衰合拍，成为贯穿诗歌史的一根线索。
The “Mao Poems” in the Han Dynasty “satirical remonstration”, not “poetic teachings”. It advocated the satirical spirit of the Northern Song Dynasty poetry had a tremendous impact. Zhu Xi as a Biography of Poetry, Poetry Education Hing and Mao Poetry. It has great influence on Yuan, Ming and Qing poetry. The rise and fall of “Mao Poems” coincides with the rise and fall of classical poetry, becoming a clue running through the history of poetry.
