提起北大、同济、南开等等这些著名的百年高等学府,国人心底会自然流淌出一种莫名的情感,这种情感的源头就在于这些学校百年来所积累的底蕴,所形成的内涵,所体现的气质,所散发出的深沉厚重的历史气息,历经百年而不衰的执着育人精神,令人感动而神往。而这样的中学也不少。2010年,我们开设“历史名校”栏目,希望通过探寻百年中学的历史,呈现这些历史上中学名校的风貌,能够引发人们对过往的回忆,更好地把握今天;也希望通过对历史的回顾,促使我们进一步审视当下的教育,不懈地去追求真理,即或是寂寞地追寻。这是教育者的职责,也是教育者的使命。

We hope that by exploring the history of a hundred years of middle schools, we can present the appearance of these elite schools in history. We also hope that through the study of history The retrospect urges us to further examine the current education and tirelessly pursue the truth, that is, to pursue it lonely. This is the responsibility of educators, but also the mission of educators.
