日前,安徽省高级人民法院终审判决“步步高”公司构成侵权并赔偿著作权人经济损失8万元。北京一家民营教材研究机构编撰的义务教育课程标准实验教科书《英语》系列教材,被知名企业东莞市步步高教育电子产品有限公司(以下简称“步步高公司”)制作成仅适用于其生产的电子词典的文件格式供用户下载,并将这些文件提供给代理商进行复制、传播。该研究机构认为“步步高”公司已侵犯其著作权,遂将其告上法庭。
