The “2005 China Military Report” concocted by the US Department of Defense was opened on July 19. Two weeks later, the Japanese cabinet passed the “2005 Defense White Paper” submitted by the Japanese Defense Agency. The two seem to be irrelevant, but after careful inspection, it is not difficult to find that they are “consistent” in some key content: “China threat theory” is a main thread running through it.
