Due to the prejudices on the basis of religious hostility, ethnic arrogance and ethnic segregation, and the intertextuality of English literary texts, British writers have greatly prejudiced the image of Arabs. The image construction of Arabs in British literature is a combination of prejudice, “the image of a pagan in one hand and a Koran in the other hand”, the brutal, greedy and civilized object of hostilities and the mystical mystery of the former Crusades Measured, brave and loyal pagan figures, to the decadent, confused, declining and weaker figures during the colonial period, to the foolish, absurd and backward modern images to be drafted.
