以氧气镶焊硬质合金钻头的方法是一种效率不高、价值昂贵并不能保证质量的工作方法。有的地质勘探队修配间的合理化建议者们,曾经多次企图用电焊方法或接触焊接法来进行硬质合金钻头的镶焊工作,均没有得到预期效果。某些工厂也使用了专门的电加热炉或瓦斯炉来镶焊,往往效率也不高,并且还需要专门的设备。目前,在苏联的诺沃切尔卡斯矿山钻探机械制造工厂采用了合金钻头的浸渍镶焊法,其工艺过程并不复杂,而效率较高,质量也能保证。其操作过程如下:
The method of welding carbide inserts with oxygen is a less efficient and expensive method of working that does not guarantee quality. Some reasonable suggestions made by the geological exploration team are not expected to result from repeated attempts to weld the cemented carbide drill by electric welding or contact welding. Some factories also use a special electric furnace or gas furnace to set the welding, often not efficient, and also require specialized equipment. At present, the soviet alloy drill bit immersion welding method is adopted in the Novoricekars mine drilling machinery manufacturing factory in the Soviet Union. The process is not complicated, and the efficiency is higher and the quality can be guaranteed. The operation is as follows:
