This article describes a cross-assembler for 77-II microcomputers that provides the means to program programs on the DJS-131 using the 77-II assembly language. This assembler is a two-pass assembler that requires 2k of storage capacity and is designed to input source programs via photo-motor or telex, as well as editing and editing functions. Compilation of the results can be printed through the wide-line printer target program and the source code comparison table. The target program punches out the tape and can start analog execution immediately. The paper presents the design and implementation details of assembler. The authors believe that the same method can be used to design and implement assembler programs on other microcomputers.
