我国从2001年开始将在全国范围内逐步开设小学英语教学,如今,大部分的小学生都能够在小学阶段接触英语。然而,由于各种各样的原因,学生的英语基础参差不齐,这使得中学老师很难开展初中的英语教学。小学阶段的英语教学强调的是课堂活动的多样性以及学生的口语,而忽略了学生的基础知识。进入初中以后,有一些学生甚至连最基本的26个字母都不会,这不仅给教师的教学增加了难度,同时也打击了学生的学习积极性。同时,初中的教师因无法准确把握学生的掌握情况,从而会出现教学内容过于简单,或者让学生难以接受的情况。因此,做好小学跟初中的衔接显得尤为重要。
Since 2001, China will gradually establish primary-school English teaching nationwide. Today, most primary school children are able to touch English at primary school. However, due to a variety of reasons, students’ English backgrounds are uneven, which makes it very difficult for high school teachers to start junior high school English teaching. Primary school English teaching emphasizes the diversity of classroom activities and students ’oral English while ignoring the students’ basic knowledge.
