Supported by the National Science and Technology Program, a research team headed by Prof. Xue Qingzhong of China University of Petroleum (Tung Wah) School of Physics and Technology succeeded in developing a new type of gas detection material, a nano-carbon / silicon heterojunction material. Nano-carbon / silicon heterojunction materials with a variety of gases at room temperature with
