丝瓜皂甙能促进幼龄小鼠的生长，对小鼠遭受高温、缺氧、疲劳和核辐射损伤时有保护作用；并能增强小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞吞噬功能和促进小鼠溶血素的形成。
Luffa saponin can promote the growth of young mice and protect mice against high temperature, hypoxia, fatigue and nuclear radiation damage. It can also enhance the phagocytic function of mouse peritoneal macrophages and promote the formation of mouse hemolysin.
