伊丽莎白·鲍恩(Elizabeth Bowen)是二十世纪杰出的一位英籍爱尔兰女作家,生平一共撰写了八部长篇小说和一部戏剧,还有很多不错的书评和文学理论专著,被评为21世纪的简奥斯丁。她的小说享誉极高,深受西方评论家的青睐。然而,在中国,伊丽莎白·鲍恩却不太为国内读者所熟悉。本文主要结合国内学术期刊上关于伊丽莎白·鲍恩的相关学术文献,针对她的生平主要创作带有的失根性和文化错位性,主要的创作风格和写作技巧的文献综述以及为何国内对于伊丽莎白·鲍恩的关注较少进行分析。
Elizabeth Bowen, an outstanding British writer in Ireland in the twentieth century, wrote a total of eight novels and a drama in his life. There are also many excellent book reviews and literary theory monographs and was named 21 Jane Austen of the century. Her novel is highly regarded and is favored by Western critics. However, in China, Elizabeth Bowen is not very familiar with domestic readers. This article mainly combines the relevant academic literature about Elizabeth Bowen in the domestic academic journals, a literature review on the main elements of her life’s degeneracy and cultural dislocation, the main creative styles and writing skills, and the reasons why Elizabeth Bowen Grace’s concern is less analyzed.
