In its review of the rapid urbanization of the world’s population in the 20th century in the World Urbanization Prospect (2005 Revision), the United Nations increased the proportion of urban population in the world from 13% (2.2 billion) in 1900 to 29% in 1950 (732 million ) To 49% (3.2 billion) in 2005, while forecast to increase to 60% (4.9 billion) in 2030. The 2009 report shows that this figure has crossed 50% mark. Urbanization is a key step in the development of human civilization. It represents not only a huge population data, but also the significance of geography, sociology and economics. Urbanization also represents the urbanization of lifestyles and the urbanization of cultural values ... The resulting needs and aspirations of humankind are also constantly changing, and at an accelerating rate. Then the impact of these complex and subtle changes on the design world must not be overlooked, and there are countless possibilities for design, both within and across cultures.
