一以艺术一词开篇有充分理由:它位居艺术博物馆这一术语之首,而第二个词(博物馆)却非常具体,容易界定。建造或毁坏一所博物馆相对比较容易,但创造或毁灭艺术则不易。因为对一般人来说,艺术是难以言喻的,而且它比实体博物馆具有更丰富的内涵。如果没有博物馆,艺术亦可以存在于人们的头脑中;但没有艺术,艺术博物馆就难以想象了。 A good start is to start with the word art: it ranks first in the term art museum, and the second word (museum) is very specific and easy to define.
