本文结合关联理论,对《亨利四世》梁实秋版、方平版和朱生豪版的意象翻译策略进行了探讨,对意象中文化缺省的明晰化、意象替代及舍弃的原则和方法予以梳理。指出戏剧台词翻译中的意象调整是目的语文化过滤的结果,决定因素在于最佳关联语境的动态重建;归化异化的翻译策略实际上并不矛盾,以受众能理解异域文化背景的程度为限。这是一个自然的文化交流过程,不能拔高和强求。
This paper discusses the translation strategies of Liang Shiqiu, Fang Ping and Zhu Shenghao in “Henry IV” based on the theory of relevance, and analyzes the principles and methods of clarity, image substitution and abandonment of cultural default in images. It is pointed out that the image adjustment in drama translation is the result of cultural filtering of target language, the determinant lies in the dynamic reconstruction of the optimal context. The translation strategy of domestication and foreignization is not contradictory in practice. The extent to which the audience can understand the foreign cultural background is limit. This is a natural process of cultural exchange, can not be high and force.
