吾师黄济先生仙逝,弟子痛失良师。教育学部中英、家永诸君让撰挽联,遂有“学而不厌,诲人不倦,春风化雨,垂师者典范,弟子咸尊;仁者不忧,知者不惑,温良敦厚,呈君子气象,士林共仰”。随后请述胜君润色,即有“学而不厌,诲人不倦,存师者典范,后生如沐春风;仁者不忧,知者不惑,有君子气象,士林咸推大德”。又与中英君商定,则曰“学而不厌,诲人不倦,存师者典范;仁者不忧,知者不惑,续君子遗风”。

Then please refer to Shengjun polish, that is, “learn without tire, indefatigable, save a model, aftergather as a breezy spring; benevolent not worry, those who know not puzzled, there is a gentleman weather, Shihlin salvo push.” Also agreed with the Chinese and British monarch, then said “learn without tire, indefatigable education, a model of depositors; benevolent not worry, those who know not confused, continued gentleman legacy”.
