《朴学斋日记》为民国学者胡朴安先生(1878-1947)所撰,稿本三十八册,今藏复旦大学图书馆。《日记》始自清光绪二十五年(1899),迄于民国三十六年(1947),其间虽略有缺失,仍为研究胡朴安出处、治生、交游、读书、著述等活动之最洋实记录,蕴含大量珍贵史料,亟待整理付刊。胡氏二十年代后以办报、教书为主业,兼事著述。因抗战爆发,报馆停办,蛰居危城,抱病写作,经历人生又一重大转折,而其思想学问亦进入新发展阶段。兹选刊先生1937年七、八、九三月日记,为文化史、民国史、抗战史、上海史研究提供史料之助。《日记》据稿本过录,原稿书写脱衍讹误,略事修订,删字用“()”、增字用“[]”符号标明。
