镶条在各种车床、铣床、钻床等设备的导轨移动机构中,起着重要的收紧导轨作用。镶条制造精度将直接影响到机床的加工精度。机床镶条,一般的制造程序是:先锻造出毛坯,钳工划线,在牛头刨床上沿划线刨削出一定的倾斜角。然后涂色,在装配过程中反复的配刮。直至达到25×25(mm~2)为12个点以上为止。这种制造方法的缺点是:在刨床上加工时,不易装夹,倾斜面难控制,钳工配刮时的工作量过大,生产效率低,而且加工质量差。
