AIP是目前国内外防治储粮害虫的主要熏蒸剂之一,AIP所产生的PH_3气体对昆虫的生理效应比较缓慢,昆虫接触PH_3气体后,不是立即死亡,而是要经过一段时间后才能致死。PH_3对害虫的成虫、幼虫的毒性作用很强,用较低浓度就可杀死,但对卵和蛹的毒性作用则较弱,要杀死卵蛹必须采取高浓度。单一使用AIP熏蒸,PH_3浓度升得快,降得也快,保持有效浓度时间短,往往熏蒸后经过一段时间就会发现有活虫。因此,不得不进行第二次熏蒸。如果长期单一反复使用PH_3熏蒸,不但存在着劳动强度大、用药量大、费用高、工作人员接触毒气时间长等问题,更重要的是害虫产生了抗性,造成杀不死
