王步(1898——1968) 字仁元,号竹溪,晚年所作青花瓷及中国画常署“陶青老人”,江西丰城县人。从一九○七年来到景德镇至一九六八年病逝,从事陶瓷美术工作长达六十余年,生平创作釉下、釉上、堆雕、刻花瓷器数以万计,尤精于青花。王步于一八九八年出生于景德镇。其父名秀春,为清朝同治、光绪间优秀青花画手。在父亲的薰陶下,从小喜爱绘事,但至一九○四年父亲逝世,只得随寡母返回丰城长湖老家并上私塾三年。一九○七年,王时年九岁,在亲友的帮助下只身来到景德镇拜青花艺人许友生为
