In the summer of 1999, two women, Professor Han Rujuan from Beijing University of Science and Technology and research consultant to Denver Art Museum of the United States, were entrusted by the Swiss Argberg Foundation to come to Xinjiang for a source of woolen textiles they collected abroad. They have a photo of woolen fabric that is very similar to the style of the cloth unearthed in San Pula. The photos on the woolen textile wonderful, especially the ribbons on the fur skirt, bright colors, clear patterns, with abstract and creative animal patterns, exciting. Since its first excavation in 1983, the wool textile products unearthed in the Shan Pula ancient tombs have participated in overseas exhibitions many times. Shan Pulai textiles show the unique characteristics of the era and geographical distribution, Chinese scholars are proud to call it - Shanpula Mao textile style.
