受新世纪出版社的委托，本刊承担了编写《百年中国儿童世界》的重任。该书约１３０万字和２０００幅照片，从人口、卫生、教育、文学艺术、玩具、游戏、组织、法规、生活用品、出版、对外交往等若干方面，来反映２０世纪中国儿童难忘的生活。经过众多专家的艰辛努力，书稿已陆续完成，不久将与大家见面。在审读北京师范大学研究员赵忠心先生的“家庭教育卷”时，我们深感前人的一些见解极为珍贵，尤真是鲁迅先生的呐喊，至今仍值得广大父母与教师倾听和三思。为此，我们先精选部分篇章奉献给读者朋友。今后我们还将陆续摘发一些其它内容。
Entrusted by New Century Press, this magazine has assumed the important task of compiling the “100-year Chinese Children’s World.” The book, about 1.3 million words and 2000 photos, reflects the unforgettable life of Chinese children in the 20th century from such aspects as population, health, education, literature and art, toys, games, organizations, regulations, daily necessities, publishing and foreign exchange. After many experts hard work, the manuscript has been completed, will soon meet with you. While reviewing the “Family Education Volume” by Mr. Zhao Zhongxin, a researcher at Beijing Normal University, we deeply felt that some of our predecessors’ opinions were extremely precious. It is especially the cry of Mr. Lu Xun that we still deserve our parents and teachers to listen and think twice. For this reason, let’s select some chapters for our readers and friends. In the future we will continue to pick up some of the other content.
