划分具有某些共同特征的区域通称为区划。各个景观要素或是整个景观的相对一致性就是进行自然地理区划时的共同特征。按个别景观要素进行区划,称为部门自然地理区划。按整个景观进行区划,则称为综合自然地理区划或景观区划。必须着重指出:在划分部门自然地理区域时,不应该孤独地观察任何区域的某些个别自然条件:而要把它们当作自然区域综合体的有机部分,即必须当作景观的要素来观察。否则就不应该说是自然地理区划,而是某种专门的非自然地理的
The division of areas with certain common characteristics is known as division. The relative consistency of various landscape elements or the entire landscape is a common feature of natural geographical division. Zoning according to individual landscape elements is referred to as the division of natural geographical areas.
