毛泽东的新民主主义理论包涵着许多民主思想,半个多世纪以来一直闪耀着理性的光辉,其新民主主义文化的民主内蕴对于今天的政治文明建设、精神文明建设仍有很多指导意义。正如毛泽东所言:“这种新民主主义的文化是大众的,因而即是民主的。”新民主主义文化的民主内蕴是新民主主义政治的必然反映,正是与建立新民主主义政治制度相适应,毛泽东把这种新型民主政治的内蕴放在新民主主义文化的构成之中;新民主主义文化的民主内蕴是新民主主义文化根本原则的必然要求,集中体现新民主主义文化人民性的特性;新民主主义文化的民主内蕴对今天中国特色社会主义文化建设有着重大现实启示,政治文明建设不是孤立的,需要经济市场化的支撑和文化民主化的配套。
