WT5HZ]Objective:[WT5BZ] To observe the clinical effect of puerarin in treatment of infantile viral myocarditis. [WT5HZ]Methods: [WT5BZ]Puerarin was administered intravenously together with conventional treatment in the treated group, while conventional treatment alone was given to the control group. Creatine kinase isoenzyme, lactate dehydrogenase isoenzyme, cardiac function and clinical manifestations before and after treatment were observed. [WT5HZ]Results:[WT5BZ] Puerarin could significantly relieve the symptoms in patients of infantile viral myocarditis, enhance the metabolism of myocardium and improve the cardiac function. The total effective rate in the treated group was 87.04%, significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference between them was significant ( P <0.05). [WT5HZ]Conclusion: [WT5BZ]Puerarin can be used to treat patients with infantile viral myocarditis with satisfactory results. [WT5FZ]
