无锡集会纪念丁福保１９９２年１１月２８日，无锡市各界人士隆重集会，纪念我国近代著名学者，钱币学界前辈丁福保先生逝世４０周年。丁福保（１８７４──１９５２），字仲祜，号梅轩，别署畴隐居士，江苏无锡人；一生致力于研究和弘扬民族文化，泉币学社创始人之一，曾任古泉学会会长，泉币学社社长，为我国钱币学作出了杰出的贡献，著有《古钱大辞典》、《古泉学纲要》等八种专著，他不仅在钱币学方面而且在文学、史学、医学、佛学等方面都有很深的造诣，并有多种著作；人们称他为百科全书式的学者，赞扬他＂嘉惠士林＂。纪念大会由无锡市钱币学会发起，市政协文史资料委员会、佛学会、中华医学会、语言学会联合举办。无锡市钱币学会主办的《无锡钱币》特编发了纪念丁福保先生专辑。（王新生）无锡集会纪念丁福保@王新生
On November 28, 1992, all walks of life in Wuxi held a grand rally to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the death of Mr. Ding Fubao, a famous modern scholar in the numismatic field in China, on November 28, 1992. Ding Fubao (1874 ─ ─ 1952), the word Chungli, Mei Hsien, Do not open a home domain division, Wuxi, Jiangsu Province; life devoted to research and carry forward the national culture, one of the founders of Quanzhou Institute, a former president of Springs Institute , President of Quan Yuan Society, made outstanding contributions to China’s numismatics. He is author of eight monographs, such as the Dictionary of Ancient Money and the Outline of Ancient Quan Studies. He not only studied in numismatics but also in literature, history and medicine , Buddhism and other areas have deep attainments, and a variety of books; people call him an encyclopedic scholar, praising him “Jia Hui Shihlin.” Commemorative meeting sponsored by the Wuxi City Coin Association, Municipal CPPCC History and Materials Committee, Buddhist Association, Chinese Medical Association, Language Association jointly organized.
