在我国,有6100万留守儿童,占全国儿童总数的22%。据国家统计局的数据,去年外出打工6个月以上的人数达到2.78亿。调查发现,76.1%的留守儿童处于祖辈监护、亲戚监护或自我监护的状况,34%的父亲/母亲在儿童3岁之前就开始外出。据统计,中国每年有近5万名儿童死于意外伤害,其中大部分是留守儿童。2014年的调查数据显示,49.2%的留守儿童在过去一年中遭遇过不同程度的意外伤害。毋庸置疑,中国经济发展和社会转型过程中付出的代价之一便是留守儿童问题。“父母在远方,身边无爹娘,读书无人管,心里闷得慌,安全无保障,生活没希望”这段顺口溜虽然通俗,却是对留守儿童生活最真实的写照。对于全国数以千万计的留守儿童们来说,无论从哪方面来看,他们付出的代价都太过沉重。我希望有一天我们的小孩能待在父母身边,钱又刚好够用,那就是非常完美的事情。——一位外出务工妇女的心声一个人就是一个家,一个人想,一个人笑,一个人哭。我很小的时候父母就出去打工去了,不知道什么是父爱和母爱。——一个留守儿童的日记
