For the long-distance photo-halogenation reaction of rigid molecules, it has been successfully reported that the flexible chain molecules encounter great difficulties in locating the chains because it is not easy to find a proper environment or pedestal to control the orientation of the chains. This work attempts to exploit the relative ordered arrangement of hydrophobic molecules in the reverse micelles to tentatively study the photo-chlorination reaction of flexible chain molecules. I-C 6 H 4 - (CH 2) _ n COOH (1) with different length was synthesized and reacted with n-dodecanol to form the corresponding ester, which reacted with chlorine to form dichloroiodophenylcarboxyl Acid dodecyl ester Cl_2I-C_6H_4- (CH_2) _nCOOC_ (12) H_ (25) (2)
