一、基本情况 汾河纵贯晋中盆地中央,是盆地唯一的外流河,河水矿化度不大于0.37克/升,水质优良,宜于引灌农田。晋中汾西灌区即位于汾河西岸中游地带,全区处于汾河一级阶地上,地面坡度由东北而西南倾斜,坡降约为1/2500-1/3000,地形平坦。全区均为河流沉积物成土母质类型。由于沉积时期以及所处地形部位的不同,土壤质地在水平、垂直方向上都有较大差异。土壤主要有浅色草甸土、盐化浅色草甸土,盐土和沼泽土几种类型。
